We are all familiar with the famous line, “Only you can prevent forest fires.” This also applies to teachers in the classroom. Teachers must be attentive to every detail, develop eyes that can see through walls and around corners, keep a listening ear for trouble lurking near, negotiate melt downs before they occur, and make sure every one is learning everything that could possibly be taught. It is truly “only you.” Whew!!!
